About the York Girls Program

The York Girls program is designed for those in grades 5 through 8 in the York, Kittery, and Marshwood School Districts. We participate in the Southern Maine Middle School Hockey League and compete against other girl programs. Our season begins in the fall with dryland training. We start on-ice practice as soon as the Churchill Rink at Jackson's Landing in Durham opens. Games begin in November and runs through February.

The cost for the program is $480. Goalies are half-priced. We will prorate the program cost in the even the season is cut short,

We are committed to following all of the safety precautions and protocols established by the local rinks, the league, and the State of Maine.

Though we did not have a season in 2020-2021, we are looking forward to hitting the ice for the 2021-2022 season. We are always looking for parents to volunteer their time and help out with the club. Please reach out to Dave at evansdavid83@gmail.com if you are interested.

Our program is part of the Wildcat Girls Ice Hockey Association (WGIHA). The WGIHA also financially supports the Girls Ice Hockey Program for York High School which also includes Traip Academy in Kittery and Marshwood High School in South Berwick.
